"A JEWEL OF A TEA SHOP WITH SO MUCH MORE"
"It would be a mistake to take the A22 bypass round East Hoathly, since you will miss out on scrumptious cakes, exquisite jewellery, Vivien Westwood shoes, cushions, throws and cards, plus cheek and chat from Lesley, the owner of Muffins tea /jewellery/gift shop in this quaint village.
You will find extraordinary pieces - bracelets, earrings, pendants etc - at affordable prices - which you will see nowhere else. Lesley is a perfectionist when it comes to sourcing her wares. You will not find such unusual cards for all occasions anywhere else. When it comes to that perfect present - Muffins is where you need to be. If you just want coffee and cake, or a classy lunch at reasonable cost - Muffins is also where you need to be. I go every week and there is always something new and exciting. The chocolate cake is FAB."

"Muffins Cafe. This is the place I go for my quick cup of cappuccino, my family get-together lunches and my earl grey and chocolate cake moments. While I am there I can pick up the cards for the next three family birthdays and the presents, which get wrapped for me as well!! We love you Lesley and Ann, thank you. See you soon."

"We stumbled across Muffins a couple of years ago on our way from Bath to Eastbourne to visit my brother (who is in a nursing home). It is now our regular stopping place for much-needed refreshment. In fact we now don't make the journey on a Sunday so that we can be sure of calling in. Can also prove an expensive stop-over, as we always manage to find unusual cards and gifts that we cannot leave without! Looking forward to our next visit".

"I just love this cute place! I visit every year from California. The gifts, cards and jewellery here are the perfect present!
It's so worth the stop for a coffee, lunch and fun look around the store, it's bigger than it looks, there's so much to see.
See you next summer Lesley"!!

"I was in England visiting my family when it was suggested that we should take a trip to Muffins. I did not know what to expect. I really was surprised, I couldn't believe that you could find such a fantastic tea room and gift shop in the middle of nowhere, especially as I now live in the USA. You must visit!"
